What I’m working with

I found convert_webp_to_png.py in the owner’s Helper Scripts folder. A file picker selects the WebP, Pillow opens it, and a PNG lands beside it.

A helper does not need to become an application suite to earn a place here.

How it works

Choose a file

Use the Tkinter dialog to select a WebP image.

Convert the format

Pillow opens the selected image and saves a PNG.

Keep it nearby

The output uses the source filename with a .png extension in the same folder.
